American Chassis Leasing was founded in 1992 by Steve Rooney who has been in the business of leasing chassis and trailers for over 30 years. American Chassis Leasing is one of the largest providers of chassis and trailers in the country with over 4,500 trailers in its fleet including ISO tank chassis, double box frac sand chassis, hopper bottom sand trailers, and belly dump sand trailers.

Our tank container chassis and frac sand chassis are all drop deck chassis that provide a lower center of gravity for the containers that they haul thus providing more stability and safer transport.

We currently have a fleet of over 4,500 chassis and trailers that are available for lease around the country at very competitive prices.

Our drop frame tank container chassis include tandem axle chassis, spread-axle chassis, triaxle chassis, and Hi/Lo combo chassis that can carry one loaded tank container or two empty tank containers. Chassis can be configured with an optional lift kit that will tilt the tank container to assist in draining the product from the tank.

American Chassis Leasing is also the largest provider of frac sand chassis that are capable of carrying two 8 foot sand containers. Our frac sand chassis are lightweight yet strong enough to withstand the rough lease roads.

We have also added hopper bottom sand trailers and belly dump sand trailers to our fleet as an alternative way to deliver both dry and wet sand to the wellsites.
